Open enrollment is underway, and Yakima Neighborhood Health Services (YNHS) is offering Saturday hours to ensure you can meet with navigator at a time that works best for your family. Whether you’re renewing your plan, looking at a new plan or enrolling for the first time, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
Why Saturday Hours?
We know that weekday schedules can be challenging, especially for working families, students, and caregivers. By opening on Saturdays, YNHS aims to remove barriers and make health care coverage more accessible to everyone in our community. Alex Cordova, Navigation & Engagement Supervisor shared that “being available on Saturday’s eliminates a barrier for clients to come in for insurance options. We want to accommodate as much as possible for our community.”
What You Can Expect
During Saturday Open Enrollment hours, you can expect:
- One-to-one support from an insurance navigator
- Explore available plans, including financial assistance options
- Ask questions about Medicaid/Apple Health, Qualified Health Plans, and more

These services are free, confidential, and open to all – even if you have never been a YNHS patient before.
